Well, I loved this blog! Your mom told Brady that I would be excited to see all of the historical things you did this past weekend and she was correct! I'm still anxiously awaiting your trip to Buckingham Palace. On my gosh, I can't wait for that blog! Brady got to do a little touring in Washington D.C. this past weekend: I took Brady and Kellsie (this was her second time in two months..she wasn't nearly as excited as Brady was :-)) to see Ford's Theater. He probably can't wait to share his experience and knowledge about Ford's Theater with you(not!!). He was a good sport though; as he is always!
ReplyDeleteHow close did you get to the tennis courts? Were you courtside or were you in the stands? So, the chemicals from your hands might be harmful to the grass and you couldn't touch the grass...I can understand that, I guess. That is sort of like at our house, too. No one touches our grass..they don't mow, they don't trim,...
Keep having fun!
Waiting for your next adventure..
Stay safe,
Lisa G.
Well Kari, You seem to have taken a liking to the etoh. It seems like you are getting some really neat experiences. I am glad you are keeping up with the blog and fb pictures because it helps us to enjoy this experience with you. Miss you lots. Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteI am sure Brady loved D.C.! I hopefully will make it to Buckingham Palace this weekend. I really need to get there asap. We were only allowed in the stands at Wimbledon. If we walked or even touched the grass we would get thrown out. It was really neat to see though and the grass was perfect even though its winter. I can't imagine the amount of money that is spent on the upkeep of the grounds.
ReplyDeleteThanks mom, I can't wait to go through the pictures and actually explain stuff to you when I get home!
So, I heard you were at Buckingham Palace but you couldn't get past the gate...do they not offer tours inside of Buckingham Palace...not even through a small part of Buckingham Palace, ever???
ReplyDeleteSupposedly they offer tours of some of the state rooms during the summer, but I won't be here during the time the offer it. They also offer tours through the stables and through the Queen's gallery which has different displays of items that belong to the royal family. I didn't get a chance to go into them on Friday, but hopefully I will try and get there some other time.
